Welsh indie-rockers The Automatic release the first album from their own label, Armoured Records, titled Tear The Signs Down. Their third effort reverts toward the sound of their debut Not Accepted Anywhere, combining synth hooks with big rock choruses, while still diversifying their sound. This is Paul Mullen’s second full album with the band and his presence is evident here on the frequent three part harmonies that he shares with Robin Hawkins and James Frost. This vocal interplay is illustrated perfectly on the single “Interstate”.
