Welsh indie-rockers The Automatic release the 1st album from their own label, Armoured Records, titled Tear The Signs Down. Their 3rd effort reverts toward the sound of their 1st Not Accepted Anywhere, combining synth hooks with big rock choruses, while still diversifying their sound. This is Paul Mullen’s 2nd full album with the group and his presence is evident here on the frequent 3 part harmonies that he shares with Robin Hawkins and James Frost. This vocal interplay is illustrated perfectly on the single “Interstate”.
